HCG Diet Drop vs Injections
There are two main methods or forms of taking HCG supplements, HCG Diet Drops and HCG DIet Injections. Both forms of the hormone provide the same effect of losing weight. That said, each of them do have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Therefore before actually deciding on a particular diet protocol, it is important to know their properties and individual effects. This way, people considering or already on the HCG Diet will be able to choose the type of protocol that best suits them in their weight loss objectives.
Both forms of HCG are known to be effective regardless of form. This is because their amounts per dosage are exactly the same. Either way the hormone itself takes 2-3 days in order to be fully absorbed by the system. While the injections do target direct release of HCG into the bloodstream, the hormone’s functions require a number of days in order to stabilize itself throughout the body.
Dieters using either form of the hormone may experience 1-3 lbs. of weight loss per day, or up to 40 lbs. within 40 days during the whole diet program.
Both forms of the hormone supplement also become effective when supported by recommended diet protocols. These include the practice of 500-calorie or 800-calorie diets. This is particularly important to keep in mind since long term weight loss will not happen even while taking HCG without an accompanying diet.
Since HCG injections are prescription medication they tend to be more expensive than that of diet drops. They are also not available in regular pharmacies and drugstores. Keep in mind that usage of HCG injection fluids and kits without supporting prescriptions is punishable by law.
HCG diet drops are relatively more cheaper and are available in larger amounts for long-term use. The drops usually come with supplemental HCG based personal care products to further boost the effects of the hormone during diet.
HCG diet drops tend to be easier to use since they do not require handling and administration of injections. However, all said and done, it is still best to discuss it in detail with a physician / licensed health care professional first before actually choosing and following any HCG diet protocol or form of HCG. Be warned that failure to seek professional medical advice can lead to adverse effects and poor weight loss results.
